 It was important to Deseret — and us! — that the brand their customers had grown to know and love was still a part of their marketing strategy.

Earlier this year, we were approached by Deseret Home Improvements, who were looking to generate more leads through their website. They’d been talking to several marketing and social media vendors but had not felt assured that any campaign implemented would actually be effective. They were often told how much services would cost, but not how much those services would yield.

We believe that businesses should control their own marketing, starting with understanding what works and why. We walked through our process and determined — based on our experience and our research about their business — that they would be able to generate significant lift in qualified leads from a Facebook and Instagram marketing campaign in just a few weeks, and that they'd be able to sustain this growth themselves in-house with the team and resources they already had in place.

CREATING THE PLAN

We created a Marketing Guidebook specifically tailored to their team and resources, focused on Facebook and Instagram marketing, including paid and organic posting. It covered how to choose targeting, how to write copy and select photos, how to determine an effective budget, and — most importantly — how to determine if the ads are working and likely to generate qualified leads.

 We helped Deseret identify a position they wanted to focus on (stress-free home renovations) and how to make simple photo edits to turn an ordinary photo into a social media post that will get attention.

Meanwhile, we began creating ads and organic posts to build engagement on their social media channels and start sending qualified traffic to their lead capture page on their website.

By the end of our six week engagement, we had hit our projected target for qualified leads, and over the next few months they saw a 70–80% increase in their sales — largely attributable to this campaign.
